“The CHCV industry day was a marked success for PEO EIS and the Army at large,” said Product Director Archie Mackie. “It’s through events like the one held today that the Army learns what industry is truly capable of providing, and if the Army’s expectations and requests are feasible. Today’s exchange of information was enlightening, and a step in the right direction.”

The CHCV industry day was held in connection with a Request for Information (RFI) released on July 1 through FedBizOpps.com. The RFI seeks information on consolidated and integrated commercial service delivery capabilities for providing cloud computing to Army applications in three major categories: general cloud essential capabilities, common technical requirements, and performance specifications and parameters.
