Back in 2019, Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) requested PEO Enterprise’s help to provide information technology services and support in migrating 57 HQDA systems from the Pentagon data center to the commercial cloud — and later to the Army’s enterprise cloud platform, cARMY, for modernization in alignment with the Army’s digital transformation.

Over the past 20+ years, ALTESS — or Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services — has evolved its services to deliver whatever the Army mission requires.

A systems engineer with more than 25 years of IT experience, Andrew Parr leads the cloud, facilities engineering and systems engineering teams at the Acquisition Logistics and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (ALTESS) product office in Radford, Virginia.

PEO EIS’ Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (ALTESS) product office, part of the Enterprise Services portfolio, teamed with several other Army organizations and successfully completed the migration of 45 Army Materiel Command (AMC) applications from the Defense Information System Agency’s (DISA) milCloud® 2.0 to the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency’s (ECMA) cARMY cloud in May 2022.
