  4. Army Vantage Supports Global Information Dominance Experiment 3

    In collaboration with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), as well as all 11 U.S. combatant commands, the Army recently supported the third iteration of the Global Information Dominance Experiment (GIDE 3) by demonstrating interoperability between Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems’ (PEO EIS) Army Vantage program and data feeds from each service and combatant command.

    PEO EIS’s Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) hosted a change of charter ceremony at Fort Belvoir on July 28 for the Cyber Platforms and Systems (CPS) product office, bidding farewell to outgoing product manager Lt. Col. Mike Lind and welcoming Lt. Col. Brad Son as his replacement.

    As part of the Army’s overarching strategy to align its legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with an enterprise management model, PEO EIS’s General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) — part of the Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) portfolio — is in the process of migrating sustainment of its financial management ERP system for classified customers to the Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) Army Shared Services Center (SSC).
