The Wideband Global SATCOM-8 (WGS-8) Satellite was successfully launched December 7, 2016, aboard the Delta IV launch vehicle from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s SLC-37B pad.

Ms. Terry Watson, Acting Program Executive Officer Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), officially relinquished the PEO EIS charter to BG Patrick W. Burden, former Deputy PEO Ammunition and Senior Commander Picatinny Arsenal, in a Change of Charter ceremony held today on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The ceremony was hosted by Army Acquisition Executive, Ms. Steffanie Easter.

In a continued effort to pay homage to Veteran's Day, General Fund Enterprise Business System held a dedication ceremony naming the organization's conference rooms on November 10. All of the conference rooms were named after Soldiers that have fallen during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
